Unlawful Detainers (Evictions)

California law is particularly exacting in the arena of unlawful detainers. Boden Davidson, Esq. has developed an ecosystem of technology and human assets to quickly and efficiently address both residential and commercial unlawful detainers, more commonly known as evictions.

Most restrictions on evictions due to the Covid-19 pandemic in California have been lifted (as of April 1, 2022). Landlords can issue a Three-Day Notice to Pay Rent or Quit for past due rent from April 1, 2022 going forward. However, there continues to be a nearly complete moratorium in Alameda County, which is the subject of at least one lawsuit challenging that county-specific moratorium. Los Angeles County also continues to have significant restrictions on evictions due to the pandemic.
