As a California attorney, I may be able to help you with a variety of legal issues. I am dedicated to helping my clients and exercise great care in my work. I am proud to offer close, prompt, and personal service - focused on respect. I strive to provide creative, workable solutions for legal issues that my clients face.

I am currently based in the city of Oakland, in the East Bay area of California. While able to serve prospective clients with legal issues throughout California, my primary geographic areas are the Bay Area (e.g. Oakland, San Francisco, San Jose, Santa Clara, and Santa Cruz, Marin and Contra Costa counties) and the Fresno county area. I am fluent only in English, but dedicated to serving international clients with legal issues in California. 

My solo practice is at the intersection of law and technology – internet and the digitization of society have serious legal implications, but often the law takes a while to catch up with rapidly advancing technology. However, individuals and businesses do have legal recourse if their interests or rights are being harmed on the internet. It is important to remember that they are your rights and you are entitled to enforce them if they are infringed by others, even if by digital means.

One of the guiding principles of my legal practice is to make the best use of available communications technologies to provide legal services for individuals and businesses who might not be able to find a suitable lawyer otherwise. By keeping my practice streamlined and efficient, I can offer high quality legal services at competitive rates. This does not mean that I will not give any less care or attention to your case than I am able; in fact, I appreciate communicating with clients personally and, will actually listen to your concerns.

I am interested in a variety of legal fields, primarily copyright and trademark issues, and legal issues presented by the internet. Before becoming a lawyer, I acquired experience in insurance law, specifically ERISA, as an intern at two law firms (among several other endeavors). While I will not bite off more than I can chew, I am always happy to tackle novel and complex cases. I will consider taking cases under several areas of the law, including, intellectual property issues, licensing issues, contracts and leases, formation of or conversion to limited liability companies (LLCs), employment and labor law issues, and more.
